What we collect
- Rate submissions — anonymous day rates or salaries, discipline, region, and experience level. No personally identifiable information is attached to rate data.
- Account information — email address when you sign up, used for authentication and service communications.
- Payment information — processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
- Job postings — studio name, job details, and contact information you provide when posting a listing.
How we use it
- To aggregate and display anonymous rate benchmarks across creative disciplines
- To authenticate your account and manage your subscription
- To send service-related emails (confirmations, job alerts you opt into)
- To improve the platform based on aggregate usage patterns
Cookies & storage
We only use essential cookies for authentication (via Supabase) and payment processing (via Stripe). We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics.
We use your browser's localStorage to remember your theme preference (light/dark) and display settings. This data never leaves your device.
Data sharing
We do not sell your data. We share information only with:
- Supabase — database and authentication hosting
- Stripe — payment processing
- Vercel — application hosting
Your rights
You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing privacy@creativerates.io. Rate submissions that have already been aggregated into anonymous benchmarks cannot be individually removed as they contain no identifying information.
Changes
We may update this policy as the platform evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users.
