Using CreativeRates

CreativeRates is a platform for creative professionals to share and compare compensation data anonymously. By using the platform, you agree to these terms.

Rate submissions

• You agree to submit truthful, good-faith rate information based on your actual experience.
• All rate submissions are anonymous and will be aggregated with other data to produce benchmarks.
• By submitting, you grant CreativeRates a perpetual, non-exclusive license to use the submitted data in aggregate form.
• We reserve the right to remove submissions that appear fraudulent, duplicated, or otherwise undermine data quality.

Job postings

• Job listings must include accurate compensation information.
• You must have authority to post on behalf of the hiring company or studio.
• Listings that are misleading, discriminatory, or violate applicable employment laws will be removed.
• Job posting fees are non-refundable once the listing is published.

Accounts & membership

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• Founding member (first 500) lifetime access is non-transferable.
• Paid memberships can be cancelled at any time. Access continues until the end of the billing period.
• We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Data disclaimer

All rates displayed on CreativeRates are self-reported and community-sourced. They should be used as directional guidance, not definitive benchmarks. We make no guarantee of accuracy, completeness, or suitability for any purpose. Compensation decisions should consider your individual circumstances, market conditions, and professional advice.

Intellectual property

The CreativeRates name, design, and aggregated datasets are our property. You may reference our data with attribution but may not scrape, bulk-download, or redistribute it without permission.

Limitation of liability

CreativeRates is provided “as is” without warranty. We are not liable for decisions made based on data shown on the platform, nor for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Changes

We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users.
